Hi Steve, I am the Librarian at Severn Vale School in Gloucester and have just read “Blood Donors” (still itching!) interested to discover that you do school poetry visits. Could you send me some details please?
    Many thanks!
    Jools Beard

    • stevetasane says:

Hi Jools – don’t scratch, it’ll make it worse! I love doing schools workshops – and the Blood Donors poems work a treat mixed in with sections from the book! I’ll email you details. Thanks for your interest – and don’t forget Nobody Saw No One!

  2. David Nixon says:

Hi Steve, I am just getting “Nobody Saw No-one” out on the shelves. I am librarian/Performance Poet at a school in Bradford. Could you send me details for booking you for workshops. I am especially keen to get our male pupils reading more progressive literature, and I have an inkling you could be just the chap. All the best, David.

Hi Again Steve – I am having to use this forum as all my emails got wiped over the summer! I find myself in need of a Dickens specialist – could you help? DN

      • stevetasane says:

Hi David – hope you are well. I am indeed a Dickens specialist (sort of; I was writer-in-residence for Dickens Bicentennial Celebrations at Dickens Birthplace Museum, and rewrote/studied/wrote poems about much of his work). Can I help?

  3. Jean Kirby says:

    Hi Steve
I am wondering if you are available to give an author talk at Sandringham School in St. Albans on Wednesday 20th January 2016 at 11.00am – 12.15 -ish. We have a group of yr 7/8 and 9 students here to debate the Children’s Book Award shortlist books and we would like to finish with an author talk.

  4. Sarah Reoch says:

    Hi Steve,

We are looking for an author to come and visit our school in Birmingham (Arthur Terry School) and I was wondering if that was too far to ask you to come? Could you email me some details on what you do and when and if you are available as I think our pupils would really enjoy one of your workshops.

    Many Thanks

    Sarah Reoch

  5. Cathy Scott says:

Hi Steve, I am the librarian at Upper Batley High School in Batley, West Yorkshire and would like to know if you have any availability to visit us around World Book Day?

    Thanks

    Cathy Scott

  6. Esta Jacobs says:

    • stevetasane says:

Hi Esta, thanks for your message, and yes I’d love to come and visit your school. Would you mind emailing so I can give you fuller details of what my school visits have to offer/fees etc. My address is stevetasane@hotmail.com Thanks!

    • stevetasane says:

Hi Esta, I realised I never got a reply to my reply, and that I can be a bit rusty with my social media skills, so just following this up, to check whether or not you got my message and/or if I somehow missed your reply to it? all the very best, Steve
